2011-12 Learn to Skate Plymouth Informational Sheet

Monday's 4:30-5:25PM & 5:30-6:20PM [5 students to 1 teacher ratio]
Lesson Times:25 minute lesson & 25 minute practice.
Crates: The milkcrates are to be used as an aid for your skater. We ask that you take it home with you and brng it back for each lesson. When we feel that your skater is ready to give it up, we will take it from you.
Cancellations: Classes are only cancelled if there is a State of Emergency or if the rink closes. No make-up time will be added to the schedule unless approved by the rink management.
Practice Time: Your child receives a 25 minute lesson and a 25 minute practice time. At first it maybe difficult for your child to practice for the entire 25 minutes, but after a few weeks we ask that you please encourage your skater to use the entire practice time provided.
Parents and Siblings: May also skate during the 50 minute hour, however there is a $3.00 per person charge each time they skate. Please place the fee on my clip board. We use the honor system.
Tying your Skates: Skates should be tied snug around the arch and ankle but left loose enough at the top to get a finger or two behind the tongue of the boot. [This is so that your skater can bend their ankles!] Please be sure to dry your blades with a cloth after each use to avoid rusting.
Any questions, please ask Mrs. Marino or call her at 508-746-5668.
Thank you and Happy Skating,
Jen Marino Hanlon, Caitlin Marino Lang and Margot Marino
